Charge deposit

• There are several reasons why the deposit may need to be withheld, such as: when a customer exceeds the booked mileage, damages are incurred, etc.
• To charge for the excess kilometers driven, follow these steps:

1. Scroll to the "Fuel and kilometers" section in the booking's back office.
2. Enter the mileage before and after the booking.
3. Once you have done this, a line will be added to the "Booking Summary" on the right, showing the excess kilometers and the associated cost.

This way, the additional kilometers will be correctly charged to the customer.

Go to the payments section and add the payment at the bottom. Note the reason and the amount that should be withheld from the deposit. Don't forget to click on ‘create’.
