Deposit Prices

The deposit price can be set per vehicle category.

How to Set or Adjust deposit price 

1. Access the Settings

Navigate to the back office and go to your location page (Menu: Oscar > Location Page).

2. Find deposit Price

Select the "Prices" section.

3. Find Excess and Deposit Price

 Scroll down until you find the "Insurances" section and the "Excess and Deposit Price" subsection.

4. Info about Deposit and excess prices 

The deposit prices are set by Oscar per vehicle type and per booking type, you will find the height of the deposit and excess on the location page under “Prices”.​ 

The deposit will be used when damages or other costs occur during the booking, the deposit will be used firstly for damages up to the excess amount, fuel costs or speeding/parking tickets. All other costs for which the deposit is not sufficient will be charged to the customer through a new payment request.
