Customer Notification
After confirming their booking, customers will receive an email with a link to verify their driver’s license.
If the customer needs a new verification link for their license:
- In the booking overview, go to Customer Verification.
- Click on “Driver license” and press the envelope to resend.
Customer Steps
1. The customer must provide their first and last name, date of birth, and driver’s license number exactly as stated on their license.
2. They will then be guided through the following steps:
3. Take a photo of the front and back of the driver’s license.
4. Take a selfie to confirm their identity.
Once completed, the images are uploaded for review, and the verification is approved if all information matches.
Common Issues That Cause Verification Failure
- Over or underexposure in the photos, making the details difficult to read.
- Photographing a photograph (which is flagged as potential fraud).
- Exiting the verification link mid-process to switch to another app, which causes an automatic error and rejection.
