We now offer customers three insurance packages: Basic Excess Package, Standard Excess Package, and Premium Excess Package.

Insurance Package Details

• Basic Excess Package
  • Highest excess amount.
  • Deposit: €1000.
• Standard Excess Package
  • Reduces the deposit to approximately €500.
  • Additional cost: €15 per day.
• Premium Excess Package
  • Deposit: €500.
  • Excess reduced to €500 or even €0.
  • Additional cost: €30 per day.
    These values can be adjusted regarding to your car types by the rental location, to fit your needs.

How to Set or Adjust Insurance Values

• Access the Settings
  • Navigate to the back office and go to your location page (Menu: Oscar > Location Page).
• Edit Pricing:
  • Select the "Prices" section.
  • Scroll down until you find the "Insurances" section and the "Excess and Deposit Price" subsection.
• Adjust Pricing for Insurance Packages
  • Under Insurances, set the additional daily cost for each insurance package by booking type.
  • Default values are prefilled but can be modified to suit your preferences.
• Adjust Excess and Deposit Values
  • Under Excess and Deposit Price, set the amounts for each package and vehicle type.
  • When damages occur, the deposit may be used toward the excess amount, and any remaining liability will need to be paid by the customer.
